The Tandym Group is Hiring a Paralegal (Hybrid) Near Montvale, NJ
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***
Responsibilities:
The Paralegal will:
- Review and respond to third-party subpoenas
- Gather information for discovery and assist in the preparation of discovery responses
- Conduct research and resolve routine legal questions
- Prepare and provide timely litigation and related reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Review complaints and subpoenas to identify pertinent document categories to preserve
- Draft, issue and track litigation hold notices and ensure appropriate timing for release of hold notices
- Ensure timely responses to legal demands including subpoenas and discovery
- Draft, review and redline contracts, agreements and other documents
- Research and analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal sources and provide written analysis to attorneys as may be needed
- Review and update legal and administrative documents
- Perform other related duties as necessary
- Associate's Degree in in Paralegal Studies and/or a related field
- Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word, etc.)
- Solid analytical and research skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- 5 years of experience as a Paralegal; 2 years of experience in an In-House Legal Department
- Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies and/or a related field
- Paralegal certification
- Proficiency with Contract Lifecycle Management software (i.e., Ironclad)
